»How to promote the library of the future?« was the title of a workshop held by the French designer Philippe Apeloige. My idea was to pick an actual library book and to show my personal process of reading it, in this case the reading process of Ovid’s »The Art of Love«. To give proof that the book also has a life outside the library, it is put in a larger context showing its popularity on amazon.com. Building a bridge to the internet should encourage young motivated people to find out more about it online. In a second step they might go to a library.
